Canon is back for the 2012 Photokina with a successor to the S100 pocket size large sensor camera : meet the Powershot S110 that is imporved wityh a BSI CMOS sensor (still of 1/1.7″) of 12 megapixels and Wi-Fi.

S100には搭載されていなかったWi-Fiを追加、スマホ連携などにでより写真の共有が簡単になっているようです。
またタッチスクリーンも搭載されるなど、ここ最近のコンパクトデジタルカメラやミラーレスカメラのトレンドを取り入れているようです。
